Star Light-Star Bright Observatory
Star
Light's Next Public Observing Session will be on 18 Sep 2010.
|
The
Observatory will not open if the
skies have high thin clouds, mostly overcast, the weather is too windy or too cold! |
Our observing session in August was another successful event. Ten visitors to the observatory used the telescope to view the Moon in detail and a look at Venus just before it set behind the mountains. See photos below taken during the Aug viewing event. Next month the observatory will be open to participate in the "International Observe the Moon Night". Jupiter will also be on tap for viewing that night. |
